A working meeting was held to establish a National Consortium for Advanced Internet Development (CEDIA). In addition to delegates from eight national higher education institutions, representatives from advanced networks in Mexico (CUDI), Brazil (RNP), and the United States (Internet2) were also present. A letter outlining the intention to create the Consortium was signed at this meeting.
