General Objective: Create a digital platform that allows the management of georeferenced water and sedimentation parameters for the analysis of areas with high energy potential that contribute to the implementation of hydroelectric microgeneration in rural areas of Ecuador, based on parametric and high-quality design. turbine fidelity and technical economic analysis.
Specific objectives:
- Carry out a survey of the state of the art on microgeneration projects.
- Carry out the collection of satellite and field data for the characterization of water and sedimentological resources.
- Develop a new methodology for the parametric and high fidelity design (CFD) of turbines using open source programming (Python).
- Carry out a technical-economic analysis to determine unit costs for the implementation of microgeneration projects.
- Develop an interactive digital platform using CEDIA facilities to georeference, determine the hydraulic and sedimentological potential available for specific locations and unit costs related to the implementation of microgeneration projects.
- Develop a case study for a rural area of Ecuador.
- Carry out scientific dissemination through publications in magazines and conferences.
