We communicate to our academic community the closure of the CEPRA XIV-2020 -11 project: BioFluid 2D in which we financed $37,872.00. The project lasted twelve months, you can review the details of it through YouTube .

Details

  • Project Name: Drilling Fluids based on Biopolymers and 2-Dimensional Objects for applications in Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production Processes "BioFluid2D"
    Short name: BIoFluid 2D
  • Background: The formulation of the drilling fluid and its rheological characterization is currently a great concern for the hydrocarbons industry. In fact, around 15% of the oil business is linked to the development of new drilling fluids.
  • Project objective: Formulate an environmentally friendly drilling fluid based on water, a biopolymer and nanostructures, which exhibits improved viscoelastic and filtration properties for potential applications in the petroleum area.
