Installation of new UPS
Given the increase in energy consumption due to the implementation of new technological equipment in the CEDIA data center, it was necessary to increase the energy backup of said equipment.
This support was developed with the installation of two new UPS with greater battery support capacity and energy. Therefore, in the event of electrical failures or outages of the public electricity service, the equipment installed in the data center will not be affected.
With the installation of the two new UPS, the protection went from 6Kv to 24Kv, and from a backup time of five minutes to one hour.
