Research Lab was presented at the LATAM Open Science Forum in Quito

This platform offers advanced tools that optimize scientific collaboration, data management, and the use of high-performance computing.

Within the framework of the LATAM Open Science Forum, held on September 11 at the Simón Bolívar Andean University, CEDIA presented the cloud platform, Research Lab  , designed to strengthen the Science, Technology and Innovation ecosystem in Latin America. The event had the participation of more than 100 people, including researchers, authorities and students, from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, United States, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru and Ecuador.

Research Lab, an integrated platform, offers advanced tools that optimize scientific collaboration, data management, and the use of high-performance computing. These features seek to improve the reproducibility of studies and increase the efficiency of researchers, providing access to the latest technology infrastructure without the high costs associated with this type of resources.

During the presentation, which brought together 20 attendees, including academic authorities, researchers and students, it was highlighted how Research Lab facilitates networking through services such as data repositories, code managers and file transfer tools. In addition, the platform promises greater productivity by allowing researchers to access advanced resources, eliminating economic barriers and improving the management of scientific projects.

The LATAM Open Science Forum is consolidated as a key space for the exchange of ideas and the promotion of innovative projects in the region. The presentation of Research Lab highlights CEDIA 's commitment to scientific development and international collaboration in a context of growing demand for technological solutions in research.

The commitment to tools such as Research Lab marks the importance of Open Science as a model to strengthen cooperation between countries and promote scientific advances that respond to global challenges.
