This issue will focus on the cross-cutting impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) on the refining industry. Scientific articles, reviews, case studies, and research projects focused on the study, design, optimization, and integration of systems capable of transforming fossil, biological, or renewable raw materials into fuels, energy, chemicals, and value-added materials will be accepted.
The call invites submissions within the following lines of research: Petrorefineries and valorization of fossil resources, Biorefineries and comprehensive use of biomass, Electrorefineries and electrocatalytic conversion
