Ensuring the results of research and intellectual property is part of our management
Last Wednesday, December 29, 2021, the Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and Academia - CEDIA , together with the National Service for Intellectual Rights - SENADI, signed a framework agreement for inter-institutional cooperation.
The event was attended by the General Director of SENADI, Master María Gabriela Campoverde and the Executive Director of CEDIA , Eng. Juan Pablo Carvallo, who agreed on the importance of generating agreements that contribute to the protection of the intellectual property generated by Ecuadorian researchers through their higher education institutions.
The purpose of this agreement is to set the terms of inter-institutional collaboration within projects and processes related to intellectual property, development, innovation, transfer or related, between SENADI and CEDIA or the universities that are part of CEDIA , through the services that CEDIA offer through its Coordination of Innovation and Technology Transfer, as well as within SENADI's management possibilities.
Additionally, within the framework of this event, the agreement in which CEDIA continues to be officially the Support Center for Technology and Innovation - CATI in Ecuador was renewed.
