The national education and research networks of Latin America that make up RedCLARA, recognizing the central importance of the needs of their members, have agreed to establish and sign an agreement for the development of a Blockchain ecosystem in their field within Latin America. The signatory institutions are: CEDIA (Ecuador), CUDI (Mexico), RAGIE (Guatemala), RAU (Uruguay), RedCONARE (Costa Rica), REUNA (Chile), RENATA (Colombia), REDNESAH (Honduras), RNP (Brazil) , RUNBA (Nicaragua) and RedCLARA.
The signing of the agreement will be accompanied by an introduction on the relevance, benefits for the scientific and academic community served by the academic networks that are members of RedCLARA -by Juan Pablo Carvallo, Executive Director of CEDIA , and Luis Eliécer Cadenas, Executive Director of RedCLARA -, and cases of use of blockchain in the field of universities and research centers in Latin America.
