Strategic management strengthens international alliances in cybersecurity

The agenda included trade negotiations, institutional positioning, and specialized technical updates.

Strategic management

Members of CEDIA's Cybersecurity department participated in the ODYSSEY 2026 event, where they developed an international strategic management plan aimed at strengthening business relationships, consolidating institutional positioning, and accessing high-level technical updates in the sector.

During the event, progress was made in commercial negotiations and institutional validation through a direct meeting with the President of International Sales. This meeting positioned CEDIA as a strategic partner and allowed for the exploration of preferential terms for future collaborations. According to the event report, this high-level contact helps ensure that renewal and cooperation processes are treated with priority and high standing within the company.

On the technical side, the team reviewed new solutions specializing in Supply Chain Detection and Response (SCDR), tools aimed at strengthening risk management and protecting digital ecosystems against emerging threats.

These types of initiatives allow CEDIA to stay up-to-date on global cybersecurity trends, strengthen its international presence, and consolidate strategic alliances that contribute to the sustainability, innovation, and competitiveness of the country's academic and technological ecosystem.
