Successful migration of University campuses

The migration of 75 branches to the CEDIA network has been successfully completed

Network Migration

We are pleased to inform our academic community and the general public that CEDIA has completed the installation and migration work of the following member institution headquarters, to our own network.

Through this migration process, new links have been installed to connect these academic venues to ours, thus ensuring that the capacities available at the venues are practically "unlimited" up to what their package allows.
On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that the existing “old” links will remain as backup links of these campuses.

Among the migrated campuses we can find:
• Portoviejo: USGP and UTM
• Quito: ITSCO
• Guayaquil: TECSU

Additionally, it is important to mention that another important joint migration has been managed to integrate 71 branches of the Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL) to CEDIA . These 71 offices are distributed nationwide, however, an optimal connectivity architecture was designed to meet the requirements in each of these locations.

This connectivity architecture includes a Next-Generation Firewall solution with direct output to our Advanced Network, as well as integration with existing UTPL networks in its LOJA Headquarters and in the CEDIA Cloud.
