The migration of 75 locations to the CEDIA network has been successfully completed
We are pleased to announce to our academic community and the general public that CEDIA has completed the installation and migration work of the following member institutions' headquarters to our own network.
Through this migration process, new links have been installed to connect these academic sites to ours, thus making the available capacity at the sites virtually "unlimited" up to the limits of their respective data packages.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the existing "old" links will be maintained as backup links for these campuses.
Among the migrated campuses we can find:
• Portoviejo: USGP and UTM
• Quito: ITSCO
• Guayaquil: TECSU
Additionally, it is important to mention that another significant migration has been managed to integrate 71 campuses of the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL) into CEDIA. These 71 campuses are distributed nationwide; however, an optimal connectivity architecture was designed to meet the requirements of each of these locations.
This connectivity architecture includes a Next-Generation Firewall solution with direct access to our Advanced Network, as well as integration with UTPL's existing networks in its LOJA Matrix and in theCEDIACloud.
