General Objective: Development of a Surgical Telesurgery and Telemonitoring System.
Specific objectives:
- Analyze the information from similar platforms for Telesurgery and collect information from existing resources in the Hospitals and Universities participating in the project.
- Install and configure a server to manage the transmission of multimedia packages using the media streaming modality for transmissions in real time.
- Put into operation a tool that allows the recipients of the transmission to be able to access the contents and transmissions assigned to them.
- Integrate the technological elements to generate the Surgical Telesurgery and Telemonitoring Platform.
- Define Policies for the use of the system from the medical, student, educational, university, hospital, and patient point of view.
- Link the authorities of the faculties of Medical Sciences seeking to integrate the use of the Telesurgery and Surgical Telemonitoring platform into the curricula.
- Transfer of project results and protection of intellectual property.
