For three days, the CIOS of CEDIA member institutions attended conferences and presentations of success stories.
CIO University 2023 event was successfully held from October 18 to 20.
At this event, several activities were carried out, such as the presentation of the Digital Maturity Assessment Model of Ecuadorian HEIs, as well as the presentation of CEDIA CLOUD Technological Services and the associated benefits.
During the work and training sessions, a high-level discussion panel related to Cybersecurity Crisis Management was held, with national and international experts in the industry as main actors, such as Fintech, Retail, Financial, Academia and Technology. In this event, highly relevant topics were addressed, such as the impact on organizations when a threat materializes and a vulnerability is exploited, highlighting at the same time the need to maintain proactive controls, monitoring and detection tools, good practices implemented and, above all, all, the training and awareness of all staff on cybersecurity matters.
The CIO University event provided an invaluable platform to share knowledge and collaborate in creating a more secure digital environment, highlighting the critical importance of cybersecurity today.
