For three days, the CIOs of CEDIA member institutions attended conferences and presentations of success stories.
Within the framework of the development of TICec 2023 organized by the Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and Academia, the emblematic event CIO University 2023 was successfully held from October 18 to 20.
This event included several activities such as the presentation of the Digital Maturity Assessment Model for Ecuadorian Higher Education Institutions, as well as the presentation of CEDIA CLOUD's Technological Services and the associated benefits.
During the workshops and training sessions, a high-level panel discussion on Cybersecurity Crisis Management was held, featuring leading national and international experts in various sectors, including Fintech, Retail, Finance, Academia, and Technology. The event addressed crucial topics such as the impact on organizations when a threat materializes and a vulnerability is exploited. It also emphasized the need for proactive controls, monitoring and detection tools, implemented best practices, and, above all, cybersecurity training and awareness for all personnel.
The CIO University event provided an invaluable platform for sharing knowledge and collaborating on creating a safer digital environment, highlighting the critical importance of cybersecurity today.
