A business meeting promoted the connection between academia and industry to boost applied innovation

The event brought together representatives from the productive and academic sectors for a breakfast organized with CAPIA.

Business meeting

CEDIA participated in a business breakfast organized together with the Chamber of Small Industry of Azuay (CAPIA), where a strategic space for dialogue was generated to strengthen the articulation between companies and universities.

During the meeting, the success story of a joint project between CAFRILOSA and the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), supported by CEDIA's 1-to-1 Fund, was presented. This mechanism co-financed 50% of an industrial automation project that achieved concrete results, such as the implementation of product traceability systems, reduced operating times, and fewer errors associated with manual processes.

The experience demonstrated how academia-business collaboration models facilitate the effective transfer of knowledge towards practical solutions, contributing to improving the competitiveness of the productive sector and promoting sustainable innovation processes.

These types of initiatives reaffirm CEDIA 's commitment to continue building strategic alliances that connect research with the needs of the territory, generating a real impact on the technological and productive development of the country.
