CEDIA Publishing House celebrates one year of service

During this year, eight books have been published and the publisher has been part of the academic review of more than 20 books.

Since 2022, in support of independent authors or part of member institutions, CEDIA offers the service of review, editing, design, layout, publication and printing of books of a literary, academic or investigative nature. The author can access this editorial service, or part of it, directly or through the support of his institution of affiliation.

At the beginning of 2023, the benefits were made public in Editorial CEDIA CEDIA , where authors can request the services, after reading and filling out certain terms and conditions that deal with the originality of the work and the author's rights.

During this year, eight books have been published on various topics such as: Arts and Crafts, Psychology, Biology and Mathematics. To produce these publications, we worked with national and international academic peers, PhDs and specialists in each of the topics, to guarantee the quality of the published works.

CEDIA has also been part of the academic review of more than 20 books published by member universities and has participated in two Congresses dedicated to ICT.

The publisher has relied on the use of Creative Commons to address the type of license that authors' publications need; as well as in ISBNs provided by the Ecuadorian Book Chamber.

To end the year, through the publisher, CEDIA joined forces with Crossref and became an official sponsor in Ecuador. This means that CEDIA can generate DOI identifiers for its members. Each member retains its own prefixes and the name of its institution in its respective publications.

The books produced during 2023 are open access. However, the platform also supports the sale of digital books if the option is necessary.
