Community of Rectors of CEDIA

The Community of Rectors is a CEDIA program that offers high-level training to the highest authorities of universities, with immersions in the main innovation ecosystems of Latin America and Europe.

These high-level training sessions began in February with a technical visit to the Medellin Immersion Ecosystem. On this first visit, 12 rectors, a vice-rector and government authorities: Andrea Montalvo, Secretary of the Senescyt, and Galo Flores, Secretary of the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries, visited several university centers and centers of acceleration of local and Latin American ventures.

This technical visit took place between February 1 and 4. The Ecosystem of Israel will be the second space to be visited by the Community of Rectors; On this trip, scheduled for the end of May, the main innovation centers of the Middle East will be known.

This new CEDIA program not only offers rectors to learn about the mechanisms and advances in innovation and technology and knowledge transfer, it also allows them to generate collaboration networks and replicate work strategies in their universities.
