The meeting took place in Cartagena and revolved around five themes.
CEDIA through its Executive Director, Juan Pablo Carvallo, participated in the EU – LAC Digital Alliance Conference. A space for high-level dialogue between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean in follow-up to the Joint Declaration on a Digital Alliance.
The Conference brought together government representatives from both regions, as well as multiple representative actors from the private sector, civil society and the academic world. The meeting revolved around five general themes: data governance, electronic governance, cybersecurity, connectivity and artificial intelligence.
Juan Pablo Carvallo participated in the BELLA II Dialogue, where he announced the relevance that BELLA has in promoting science, innovation, education and technology in LAC.
