CEDIA participated in the event Towards transformation and digital culture in Ecuador , organized together with Datalat, a key space to debate the challenges and opportunities facing the country in areas such as digital transformation, data governance, cybersecurity and promotion of an inclusive digital culture.
Engineer Carlos Guzmán, Director of Product and Services Development at CEDIA , was part of the panel on Digital Transformation in Ecuador, where the role that both the public and private sectors must play to accelerate the digitalization of essential services was discussed. Guzmán highlighted the importance of creating a robust and accessible technological ecosystem, which allows reducing social and territorial gaps.
For his part, Eng. Badi Quinteros, Administrator of CEDIA 's SOC/CSIRT, was a panelist in the segment dedicated to Cybersecurity, one of the most relevant topics in the current context. Quinteros stressed the need to strengthen data protection and critical infrastructure, in order to guarantee a safer digital environment for citizens and organizations in the country.
