The development of the ECHO HUB CEDIA 2022 project begins

The project aims to cover a wide range of medical specialties and pathologies

After a successful conclusion in 2021 with more than 70 sessions held, participants from 22 provinces and around 60 attendees on average per session; we started the execution of the project in 2022 with new partners both national and international.

Our members are beginning the development of their teleclinics in conjunction with CEDIA. In this case, we have the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, which, together with FUPEC, is launching a program on Palliative Care; additionally, the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador is offering a program on Nursing. We have highly qualified professionals, specialists, and new participants joining us for our 2022 initiative.

Additionally, in conjunction with the National Institute of Public Health Research and the Ministry of Public Health, we will work together on the development of the Epidemiology Clinic, an initiative that seeks to reduce the impact of vector-borne diseases at the national level.

Following the success of the first Comprehensive Cancer Clinic with FUPEC, our featured partner in 2021 is launching a new program with us: Autoimmune Diseases. In this way, we aim to cover a wide range of specialties and pathologies, enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals, especially those serving populations in marginalized urban and rural areas of our country.

Furthermore, we will be developing the topics of Hypertension and Cardiology and Maternal Neonatal Management; the latter as an effort that adds to the project developed by the University of the Republic in Uruguay in conjunction with the Inter-American Development Bank and the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador; a project replicated in two other countries in the region.

We invite you to learn more about the project and our eHealth by CEDIA on the website.
