The ISO 27001 international certification was delivered

The Corporation continues its work to promote a safe and reliable digital environment.

CEDIA has been awarded the international ISO 27001 certification, a recognition that validates its compliance with the demanding international standards in terms of information security.

The certification was delivered by Gabriela Mármol, General Manager of Bureau Veritas, in an act that highlighted the organization's effort to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its data.

The ISO 27001 standard is one of the most important references in the field of information security, since it establishes the requirements to implement and maintain an Information Security Management System. This system aims to systematically protect an organization's sensitive data, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken against risks such as cyberattacks or unauthorized access.

One of the fundamental pillars of this certification is proactive risk management, which allows organizations not only to identify and mitigate potential threats, but also to comply with current laws and regulations in the digital environment. Likewise, it promotes a culture of continuous improvement, requiring that security measures be updated regularly to face new technological challenges.

Obtaining ISO 27001 is not only a milestone in CEDIA 's security management, but also a reflection of its commitment to protecting the confidential information of its members and collaborators. This certification reinforces the trust of its partners and interested parties, demonstrating that the security of their data is managed under recognized international standards.
