The ISO 27001 international certification was awarded

The Corporation continues its work to foster a safe and reliable digital environment.

CEDIA has been awarded the international ISO 27001 certification, a recognition that validates its compliance with the demanding international standards in information security.

The certification was presented by Gabriela Mármol, General Manager of Bureau Veritas, in a ceremony that highlighted the organization's efforts to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its data.

ISO 27001 is one of the most important standards in the field of information security, as it establishes the requirements for implementing and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS). This system aims to systematically protect an organization's sensitive data, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken against risks such as cyberattacks or unauthorized access.

One of the fundamental pillars of this certification is proactive risk management, which allows organizations not only to identify and mitigate potential threats, but also to comply with current laws and regulations in the digital environment. It also fosters a culture of continuous improvement, requiring that security measures be regularly updated to address new technological challenges.

Achieving ISO 27001 certification is not only a milestone in CEDIA's security management, but also a reflection of its commitment to protecting the confidential information of its members and collaborators. This certification reinforces the trust of its partners and stakeholders, demonstrating that the security of their data is managed according to internationally recognized standards.
