Under the motto “Innovation that Transforms,” the fourteenth edition of TICAL opened its doors in San José, Costa Rica, solidifying its position as the leading forum for academic, scientific, and technological communities in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. Between November 11 and 13, more than 250 representatives from governments, universities, academic networks, multilateral organizations, and technology companies gathered to discuss the region's digital future.

Organized by RedCLARA, RedCONARE, and the European Union, within the framework of the BELLA II program, the conference comes at a crucial moment for the region: advanced connectivity, artificial intelligence, and open science are no longer technical matters, but strategic pillars for integration and sustainable development. In line with the EU-LAC Digital Alliance, TICAL 2025 is committed to the exchange of experiences, capacity building, and the development of a common agenda that brings together academia, governments, and the technology sector.
