CEDIA's Executive Director, Juan Pablo Carvallo, carried out a working tour of the Central Highlands of the country, which included visits to the Indoamerica University, the Technical University of Ambato and the State University of Bolívar.
During his visit to Ambato, the Executive Director was received by authorities from Indoamérica University, led by its rector, Janio Jadán, with whom he discussed the benefits, services, and opportunities that CEDIA offers its member institutions. Later, at the Technical University of Ambato, he met with Rector Sara Camacho, a meeting that strengthened cooperative ties and addressed concerns related to programs, technological platforms, and research support initiatives.
The tour concluded with a courtesy visit to the State University of Bolívar, where, together with Rector Arturo Rojas Sánchez, a dialogue was held with authorities, teachers and researchers focused on consolidating strategic alliances that promote academic development, scientific research and innovation.
These meetings allowed for the sharing of information, the identification of institutional needs, and the reaffirmation of CEDIA 's commitment to continue promoting collaborative work among universities, strengthening a more connected, innovative, and development-oriented higher education ecosystem for the country.
