CEDIA 's CSIRT is part of the deployment of an IoT honeypot in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The project to deploy an IoT Honeypot in Latin America and the Caribbean, funded by the LACNIC FRIDA Program, which CEDIA 's CSIRT has been developing since the end of 2020 in conjunction with The Shadowserver Foundation, has been well received and is generating a large amount of valuable data.
The actors involved in the project, sensor donors, are kept informed about the progress so that they can carry out analyses, statistics and other applications.
Sensor locations: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Curaçao, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Mozambique, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay. We will continue working hard to integrate more countries into the project.
