Use of immersive technologies in the teaching-learning of Modern Physics

General Objective: Develop educational innovations based on immersive technologies to strengthen the teaching-learning process of Physical Sciences in Higher Education.

Specific objectives

  • Establish the state of the art of proposals developed based on immersive technologies as a strategy in favor of the teaching-learning of Classical Physics and Modern Physics.
  • Define the computational and simulation models of the Modern Physics scenarios and concepts to be considered for their implementation through immersive technologies.
  • Develop Virtual and Augmented Reality environments to implement the scenarios and concepts of Modern Physics considered in order to improve the teaching-learning process.
  • Analyze and implement gamification and Serious Game techniques within Virtual and Augmented Reality environments in order to measure the variables involved in the teaching-learning process of Modern Physics.
  • Apply the technological innovations developed through a pre- and post-test study, thus verifying the effectiveness of the virtual reality proposals developed.
