The meeting reaffirms the commitment to promote mobility and the exchange of knowledge between regions.
From September 30 to October 2, 2024, CEDIA was in Montevideo, participating in the key event for educational and academic collaboration in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Erasmus+ National Focal Points (ENFPs) of the region met at an annual meeting that, as in previous editions, offered a platform for training, the exchange of good practices and the creation of strategic networks.
The event, organized by the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation, made it possible to strengthen the implementation of Erasmus+ programs in the region. Over three days, participants delved into fundamental topics to maximize the impact of these initiatives on local educational systems, at a time when international cooperation is more vital than ever.
At the same time, the Regional Cluster Meeting and the Contact-Making Seminar were held, where academics and winners of Erasmus calls from different countries exchanged experiences and knowledge. This forum stood out for being a dynamic space for the formation of new strategic alliances, relevant for the development of future projects in the field of higher education.
With a focus on strengthening cooperation between academic institutions, this meeting reaffirms Erasmus+'s commitment to promoting mobility and the exchange of knowledge between regions, favoring the development of capabilities and promoting educational innovation at a global level.
