This edition was carried out with the participation of 34 technology directors.
The fourteenth meeting of the CIO University , organized by CEDIA , meeting by two technology directors from higher education institutions across the country. This forum, held over two days in Quito, not only stood out for its focus on new knowledge and exemplary practices, but also for its crucial role in fostering strategic collaborations among its members.
With the physical participation of 34 CIOs representing 32 institutions and the virtual connection of five more, the XIV CIO University addressed various cutting-edge topics. Among them, the use of artificial intelligence, regulatory compliance in information security – EGSI, case studies on the implementation of Security Operations Centers – SOC, and the TrendLab dedicated to cybersecurity stood out.
Digital transformation, enterprise technology management, upgrading advanced networks and the strategic use of cloud solutions were also central points of discussion and learning.
In addition to the sessions led by experts from CEDIA and member institutions, the forum had the notable participation of international exhibitors, who enriched the debate with their global perspectives on the latest trends and best practices in educational technology.
The XIV CIO University not only reaffirmed its role as a catalyst for innovation in the higher education field, but also consolidated its commitment to the continuous development and strategic evolution of CEDIA member institutions in Ecuador and the region.
