Skill in gas and liquid chromatography analysis of organic samples and determination of biological activity.

Status: Running

General Objective: Develop skills in research teachers and laboratory technicians at universities and participants in the training program, in the preparation, purification of samples, and the identification and quantification of bioactive components of samples of essential oils, volatile oils, and resins. of plants and/or organic samples; using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometer (GC-MS). In addition to acquiring skills to develop methods for the determination of biological activities with anti-Alzheimer's, anti-inflammatory, anti-xanthine oxidase and anti-diabetes capabilities in organic samples. CEDIA financing , will be used for the logistics necessary to bring an academic and research expert in the area and to acquire the reagents and supplies necessary for training at the facilities of the National Polytechnic School.
