Construction, installation and validation of solar panels as a development alternative

Status: Running

General Objective: The objective of the program is to promote the knowledge and use of alternative energies in
students, teachers and researchers in our country, through training on the construction, installation and validation of solar panels by international experts in photovoltaic energy, In this way, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and the development of new skills in those trained, encouraging Ecuador to stop being a country that imports technology and instead generates it.
The change in the energy matrix and the need to create products that make use of alternative energies will be a reality in the short term, making it imperative to deepen efforts to develop activities that allow training on the use and development of products or technologies by Ecuadorian hands. With the execution of the program, it is also sought that those trained are able to design and build solar panels that do not exist in the market, sized according to a specific need for use in the home at a moderate cost, allowing future scaling under the same manufacturing logic to build products. of greater size and power, encouraging the development of a new productive line that generates jobs or business ideas with the creation of ventures.
