Member institutions seeking funding for the participation of nationally and internationally recognized speakers in local conferences organized by them may apply.

The applicant, to participate on behalf of the CEDIA member institution, must be a teacher, researcher, technician and/or administrative staff official.

The congress with which you apply must be held in Ecuadorian territory in any area of ​​knowledge.
Likewise, it is an essential requirement that the minutes of the congress with which you are applying be published in indexed journals of recognized prestige.

The following items will be financed:

  • Mobilization of the speaker
  • Hosting of the speaker
  • Speaker's food up to $45 per day
  • Return policy (fixed and mandatory item of USD 400)

The conference speaker(s) must have a PhD academic degree and have generated at least ten SCOPUS or WOS publications in the last three years. Exceptionally, proposals with profiles of speakers who do not meet the required number of publications may be received, provided that their recognized career is documented, together with the presentation of a letter of motivation and justification by the applicant, addressed to the Academic Committee. and CEDIA Research.

The proposal must be submitted at least 90 days before the date of the event and/or congress.
