Member institutions interested in funding for the development of training courses taught by specialized international instructors may apply.
To participate on behalf of the member institution (at least one must be a full member) of CEDIA, the applicant must be a teacher, researcher, technician and/or administrative staff member.

The proposal must cover areas of knowledge for which there are no instructors in the country and which are of interest to CEDIAmember institutions.
The Avante Fund maintains a maximum amount of USD 10,000, which can be distributed among the following categories:
- Materials, supplies and parts
- Instructor(s) fees (foreign exchange rate, fees and taxes)
- Travel expenses for the instructor(s) (transportation, food and lodging)
- Recording and Editing of audiovisual material (mandatory category according to the terms and conditions)
- Other direct costs related to the nature of the call for proposals (up to 20%)
- Access to specialized information sources for training development
- 10% of the Return Policy (mandatory item according to the terms and conditions)
The training format may be: In-person, virtual, or hybrid.
The training program must have a minimum duration of forty (40) hours.
Face-to-face or virtual training must meet a minimum of 40 hours and within them there may be hours dedicated to independent work, forums or workshops and must be detailed by hours in the training syllabus.
At least one of the invited instructors must reside outside the country, be an expert in the topics of the training program, have a PhD degree, and have generated at least 5 publications in high-impact journals in the last 5 years on the topic proposed in the training program.
In exceptional cases, the Academic Commission will analyze the instructor's background and experience if they do not meet the above requirements.
Yes, there is no restriction on the number of instructors required, as long as it is within the maximum budget established for the fund, and that it meets all the requirements established in the fund's guidelines.
No, the training cannot be charged for, because the objective is to finance training for teachers, researchers and administrative staff belonging to CEDIA member universities, promoting research.
