Frequent questions

The Divulga fund finances the presentation of research results at high-impact scientific events worldwide. The categories for application are:

  • Congresses for the presentation of scientific articles
  • Invention fairs for patent filing

Applicants must be teachers, researchers or students of one of the CEDIA member institutions, who in turn are listed as authors or co-authors of the scientific article to be submitted, or failing that, as inventor of the patent.

The participant must submit their application form in PDF format and other documentation referred to in the bases of the call, on the EasyChair .

According to the application form, the fund allows financing the following items:

  • Registration / registration in the event
  • Mobilization
  • Lodging: up to USD 100 per day
  • Food: up to USD 45 per day
  • Communication and advertising: fixed item of USD 500
  • Return Plan: fixed amount of USD 400

Funding must be requested for a single author/co-author/inventor per proposal.

No, only those applications to congresses in which complete articles (full paper) are presented will be financed. Neither will articles that have been approved based on abstract or summary review be financed.

The patents must be published and present the complete descriptive memory. Utility models or industrial designs will not be financed. Patents that have only submitted their application and still do not have their publication date, and/or that do not send the corresponding technical report will not be accepted.

The proposal must be submitted at least 60 days before the date of the event and/or congress.
