Member institutions seeking funding for the participation of nationally and internationally recognized speakers in local congresses organized by them may apply.
To participate on behalf of the CEDIAmember institution, the applicant must be a teacher, researcher, technician and/or administrative staff member.

Yes, however, this is not a requirement within this fund.
The proposed conference must take place in Ecuador and cover any field of knowledge.
Furthermore, it is essential that the proceedings of the proposed conference be published in recognized, indexed journals.
The following items will be funded:
- Speaker mobilization
- Speaker accommodation
- Speaker meals up to $45 per day
- Return policy (fixed and mandatory amount of USD 400)
The speaker(s) at the conference must hold a PhD and have published at least ten articles in the Scopus or Web of Science indexes within the last three years. Exceptionally, proposals may be accepted from speakers who do not meet the required number of publications, provided their recognized career is documented and accompanied by a letter of motivation and justification from the applicant, addressed to the CEDIAAcademic and Research Committee.
The proposal must be submitted at least 90 days before the date of the event and/or congress.
