Building sustainability in agroecological social enterprises in the province of Azuay, Ecuador

General Objective: Build dissemination tools that promote the transfer of good agroecological practices and organizational practices that contribute to social, economic, cultural and environmental sustainability in agricultural enterprises of popular and solidarity economy in the province of Azuay.

Specific objectives

  • Identify agroecological organizations with excellent practices in the application of agroecological principles and those with excellent organizational practices that demonstrate agroecological organizational sustainability.
  • Analyze in depth the potential of the application of agroecological principles and sustainable organizational practices in case studies identified in the province of Azuay that account for the progress towards a real agroecological practice.
  • Exchange good agroecological practices and organizational sustainability to agricultural organizations in the province of Azuay and outside of it.
  • Systematize and disseminate good agroecological and organizational sustainability practices.
