CEDIA held the fifth edition of Intellectual Property Week 

This meeting  has become an annual discussion space to address the topic comprehensively.

CEDIA Intellectual Property Week brought together 165 participants, who for two days discussed Pi and SDGs: our common future is shaped by innovation and creativity. 

The event was held in alliance with the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador and the National Intellectual Rights Service – SENADI, and featured 15 conferences given by experts from Colombia, Peru, Spain, Argentina and Ecuador. 

Among the topics addressed in this edition were: Generative Artificial Intelligence: Implications and challenges for intellectual property; the ownership of Copyright in the Ingenios Code: Successes and failures; Intellectual property and innovation in the university framework.   

This meeting was held within the framework of World Intellectual Property Day and has become an annual discussion space to address the issue in a comprehensive manner.
