CEDIA participated in the annual meeting of the Erasmus + program of the European Union

The Corporation was representing the Ecuadorian higher education ecosystem.

For three days CEDIA participated in the annual meeting of Erasmus National Offices, National Agencies and Erasmus Focal Points held in Brussels – Belgium. In this space, collaborative alliances were promoted to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus + program.

In addition, training was carried out for National Focal Points (ENFPs) from around the world in technical assistance, with the purpose of increasing the participation of countries in all actions of the Erasmus + program.

Through specialized workshops, keynote talks given by experts in the educational field, and valuable networking spaces, dynamics of articulation were generated between different regions such as Africa, Asia-Pacific, America and the Middle East, promoting a fruitful dialogue on international cooperation. in matters of higher education.

The agreements reached during the meeting focused on the development of action plans to promote participation and increase financing rates in higher education actions.

CEDIA has the objective of transferring this knowledge to the IES Higher Education Institutions of the country, providing them with technical assistance in research financing programs. Likewise, it seeks to promote academic collaboration through international cooperation, with the final goal of increasing the indicators of linkage and internationalization of HEIs in Ecuador.

With these meetings, the Corporation reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and the internationalization of higher education in Ecuador, promoting initiatives that contribute to the comprehensive development of the country's educational system.
