CEDIA participated in the EENTITLE event held in Portugal

The event is a momentous milestone for the development of capabilities in engineering educators.

Within the framework of the Ecuadorian Engineering Educators Capacity Development and Recognition (EENTITLE) event, an international initiative focused on strengthening academic excellence in the field of engineering, various universities and institutions from Portugal, Germany and Ecuador joined together to strengthen the capacities of engineering teachers in the country.

In Ecuador, several member universities and CEDIA actively participate in the education of their students, demonstrating an outstanding commitment to gender equality by having a notable percentage of women in STEM careers.

Among the main objectives sought by EENTITLE are:

  • Generate a capabilities diagnosis.
  • Strengthen professional development centers with international quality standards.
  • Guide educators for international accreditation processes.
  • Recognize the contribution of high-quality engineering educators to social development.

From CEDIA , the head of the Academy and Training Area, Javier Valdiviezo, participated in this event that is positioned as a transcendental milestone for the development and recognition of capabilities in engineering educators in Ecuador, reflecting a solid commitment to international collaboration and academic excellence.
