IKIAM Regional University completed the process to request the registration of the first patent
As part of the impulse of the Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and Academia - CEDIA to improve innovation indicators, in 2020 the first call for Fondo Registra was launched, a program that seeks to collaborate with Management processes of Knowledge of the member organizations of CEDIA , to increase the records of intellectual property protection of the results of science, technology and innovation, with a view to being transferred to the market and society.
After the launch of the call, together with the IKIAM Regional University, the process of writing and registering the first patent application under this fund has been successfully completed.
