Interactive Playful Microworlds as Therapeutic Support Tools for children at risk

General Objective: Design, develop and evaluate an ecosystem based on ICTs and artificial intelligence as a psychotherapeutic support tool for intervention in children who have suffered violence.

Specific objectives:

  • Compile a taxomic database referring to the child population that has suffered violence in Cuenca.
  • Design a line of psychological intervention for the development of specific coping strategies in children who have suffered violence and generation of paulas for support through caregivers.
  • Design and build three robots to carry out the process of psychotherapeutic intervention in children who have suffered violence.
  • Design and develop a web system and a database that will allow the remote collection of information collected during therapeutic sessions with children.
  • Design and develop a mobile application in order to manage patient information and remotely control robots.
  • Design and execute a plan for experimentation and evaluation of the ecosystem, carrying out controlled laboratory tests and field tests with real patients.
  • Design an ontology that allows modeling the problems of children who have suffered violence.
