Protection of Personal Data in Higher Education Institutions Name Member Institution.

Status: Running

General Objective: The objective of this program is to provide the necessary knowledge so that legal research projects can be generated with the aim of developing contributions that serve the progress of this subject and are a guide on unregulated aspects, while supporting institutions in compliance with recent regulations on the matter. The protection of personal data is a fundamental issue in the digital age, and the sensitive information of minors and adolescents, which is often collected, stored and used by members of the educational community, requires special attention and safeguarding. The training program will focus on providing participants with a clear understanding of the legal principles and regulations regarding personal data protection. Thus, they will learn about best practices in the collection, storage, processing and disclosure of personal data, as well as the security and privacy measures that must be taken into account. Furthermore, by highlighting the importance of data protection and the role of universities, we seek to ensure that these institutions comply with current regulations and provide a safe and reliable environment for their students and members of the educational community.
