Technical Management of Mining Environmental Liabilities (PAM)

General Objective: The objective of this training program is to strengthen the theoretical-practical knowledge
of researchers, technicians and students from branches related to mining, geology, and the environment, on the protocols to follow for the identification, characterization, inventory and evaluation of mining environmental liabilities (PAM). Furthermore, the purpose of this training program is to contribute to the generation of knowledge and technical capabilities within the framework of the comprehensive management of the PAM, in order to propose alternatives that allow the restoration and/or recovery of the areas affected by the presence from PAM; In this way, we seek to contribute to improving the conditions of the Ecuadorian mining sector and guarantee the care of the environment and mining communities.
