SpeakerDr. Marta Solera Delgado
Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering since 1996 and PhD from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia since 2006. In 2003 she took possession of a position as Associate Professor of the University School at the University of Malaga.

His teaching work is focused on the subjects of Communications Networks. Regarding research, his current areas of interest are 3D video distribution over mobile communication networks and ad hoc networks in the underwater environment. He has published various contributions to national and international conferences and has participated in various R & D projects subsidized by the Ministry.

He has also collaborated and advised local private companies. Regarding stays in foreign centers, he has visited the Australian National Center of Excellence for Information and Communication Technology (NICTA) in Brisbane (Australia), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City, the Austral University of Chile in Valdivia and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva.

SpeakerFernando Ruiz Vega
Telecommunications Engineer since 1994 and PhD from the University of Malaga since 2012.

In 1998 he took possession of a position as Associate Professor of the University School at the University of Malaga. Since then he has taught Electromagnetism, Mobile Communications, Microwave Subsystems, Telecommunications Networks and Services, and Standards and Measurement Procedures in Acoustic Engineering.

His research work includes participation in 14 projects subsidized by the Ministry and in collaboration with companies from the Malaga Technology Park, with themes of Mobile Communications Networks and RF measurement systems. Likewise, the dissemination of its research results includes the publication of 6 articles in journals and 29 contributions to conferences, 14 of them international.
