CEDIA presented the paper “Proposed Extensions to the Methodology of Technology Scouting”.
As part of the structuring project of the CEDIA Technology Surveillance Unit, work has been done to lay the methodological bases of the technological surveillance and competitive intelligence processes.
This work led to the creation of improvement proposals for the Spanish standard UNE 166006:2018, so that it adapts to the needs of the environment in which CEDIA is located.
These proposals were reflected in the scientific article "Proposed Extensions to the Methodology of Technology Scouting", written between the VTIC team, the Academic Area and the Executive Directorate of CEDIA , which was submitted and approved by the evaluation committee of the KMIS conference.
Thanks to this work, collaborators from CEDIA 's VTIC team traveled to Rome to present this development and share experiences with professionals from other institutions carrying out similar work.
