A first initiative of the CIO University Forum, with the support of CEDIA , was the generation of the first study of the ICT situation of the Ecuadorian universities. This document will generate a positive impact on the national academic system; the institutions that make it up already have an instrument that will allow them, in a comparative way, to define roadmaps and agendas for improvement in the field of ICT.
