The fifth Forum for Directors of Information and Communication Technology of Ecuadorian Universities – CIO University – is a clear example of university collaboration, which gives meaning to its commitment to universality. The collaboration among Ecuadorian universities is evident, as they share information, best practices, and experience with the aim of improving both individually and as a higher education system. But it is also the result of international collaboration, being coordinated with similar initiatives in Spain and Mexico. And in the medium term, it aims to expand to other Latin American countries through RedCLARA.
